Poppy Popcorn
The prompt was to create a social campaign for an imaginary snack brand. Otherwise, there were no other guidelines or rules. I thought something salty, crunchy, and semi-healthy would be most appealing to the most amount of people.
I thought about how people don’t go to the movies like they used to, before the pandemic. Now, movies come out on streaming also immediately after they’re released in theaters. I think people miss the movies, and one of the things I personally miss the most, is movie popcorn. So, I figured I’d create an imaginary popcorn brand that is based on nostalgia and cinema, through their imagery and brand language. I even decided it should come in an old-school popcorn tub.
